Whats your opinion on the pros and cons of each. Hydro printing is new and cool but it is very labor intensive and seems expensive?

Thoughts?

Hyrdodecorating is old and cool. It was originated in Japan by a professor and his grad student who each started separate companies. One of them was Cubic printing but there are others doing it now.

The down side for me was the need for a clear overcoat of paint. I was trying to find a replacement for paint. Also you can not do registered graphics with it only patterns. However, it does things like woodgrains and camo very well. It can be cheap (cell phone cases, auto parts). Mass production is done with automation like any decorating process.

In mold decoration is also expensive. There are variations like in mold label that are cheaper but lower performance.
