Importing only revised etabs loads into existing safe model

I have a safe model of a piled raft. I updated my etabs model with new loads (i changed the scale factor). I want to continue using my current safe model (which is better meshed) and i only want to import the latest loads from etabs into the same safe model. How can i do this? Do i need to delete the existing loads, patterns and cases in the existing safe model before importing the new f2k file?
