Hi
I am returning to Creo after 5 years away from it.
I have to set up a system from scratch i.e. templates for parts, drawings and assemblies etc.
Any advice on setting this up to make the most of ProE smarter functionality.... I know its capable but I never had to set it up myself.

My current job I am required to create drawings utilising A customer supplied drawing which we have be given by the customer.
However its a Autocad drawing format.
what I want to do is set up a template using as much of the customers template. ( could I "trace" it?)
I have to keep it the same as the supplied one!
I know data changes from AutoCAD to Proe like text font and dim styles etc.

Can I do a straight up copy and paste of a scale 1:1 of the Autocad title block? without having to scale it again in proE.
Is there a dynamic scale function like in CAD in Proe, drag and drop scale from point to point.

I have so many questions ....
Would appreciate any assistance.

regards
Paul

You can import the template into Creo as a dxf file. However, all the "smart" functionality in the form of reading parameters has to be in drawing tables that you will have to create in Pro/E.
