If you had the same problem, I've already solve it.
When you import a solid with partitioned faces into MSC Patran, you'd see the whole face without the partition or edges that you created in the CAD (may be to apply forces, displacements, etc).
I've tried several things to solve it, but I only got it in the next way:
1. Explode the solid body into surfaces in the CAD.
2. Import the CAD into MSC Patran
3. Build a new B-rep volume. Select Create / Solid / B-rep to create a solid with representable boundaries by defining a complete list of topologically congruent surfaces that form a closed volume. Set the flag "Delete Original Surfaces"

I hope it works for you.
