Import Options Available?

Does anyone know of a file type that I can import into MDT and be able to edit the part's sketch once it is imported in? Like if I import a square box, I would want to be able to change the length and width in the sketch level but not by using the add/subtract type solid commands.
I have just started using MDT but I am used to Solidworks and would like to use some of my existing Solidworks parts as bases for new MDT designs.
