Folks,

Anyone working with NX 9 (and possibly 11) have seen an error like what I have attached this post? Long story short: Attempting to port design work from Revit to NX via a STEP Translator from TransMagic. While I am able to look at the STEP in TransMagic, I get nothing but a series of what appears to be unbounded surfaces. I attempted to save the STEP as a Parasolid via TransMagic, but I get the attached error when I attempt to import it into NX 9. Mind you, my lab is going to upgrade to NX 11 soon, and I have another team attempting to translate the STEP into CATIA, but I would like to working sometime this week - any ideas? Thanks in advance...

Not the direct answer to your question, but I gave up going down that route of getting Revit data to NX.
Our sister company is an Autodesk reseller and were asking me about ways of 3D printing Revit models.

The workflow we came up with is to export the ACIS SAT file from Revit then import that into NX11.
You do however need the SAT translator for NX, but I can vouch that it works pretty well.
