Implicit solver speed comparison

Has anyone solved the same model in newer releases of Abaqus and Ansys to compare solve times?

Does one code typically have a faster implicit solver?

system dependent, some of the major system suppliers do bench marks for their work stations, even then it gets down to the seesaw of hardware software comparisons, ultimately you have to test them your self
