Hi,
I'm encountering a problem. I'm studying a paper in which a dissipation-free plate is considered.
There is a viscous damper and the damping rate is 100 Ns/m.
Now there is the problem, because suddenly the author considers the impedance of the damper.
My question is: are the impedance of the damper and the damping rate the same quantities or are they different??
Please help me to understand
Thank you very much...
