Hey,
I'm designing some skids for transporting vertical tanks. The company has asked us to transport these tanks vertically to site, and I'm not sure how to calculate the horizontal loads.. The impact factor is 0.3, the skids are 1/4" plate on C6X8.2.. This seems like such an easy question to answer but I can't seem to get a straight answer anywhere.. Thanks in advance..
