I've been flirting with IES VF since 2015 and have not yet crafted a competent model. The assignment of seismic forces to the base is illusive - prelim models fail when lateral loads are applied. Following sufficiency of a primitive model, I seek to manipulate pier properties and the subgrade modulus to simulate varying site conditions.
I have exhausted my queries from IES Help & Tutorials. Additionally, I have apparently timed-out my tech support access from IES (4 querries per month). I seek a steward/consult to assist me with closing the gaps in this mock model. Modeling and puzzle crafting takes time; my plea is not pro bono. Please contact me if you can assist. Thx
