Hello
Could anyone tell me what this symbol means?
It is on a drawing of a stamped metal part. Not pointed at any specific area, just in the general notes section.
Much appreciated.

Found it. It is a Burr and break symbol and tolerance.

The symbol is defined in ISO 13715. Technically the drawing should call out the standard explicitly.

Ryan.

R.Billings, Did you just run across this on a drawing, or do you need to make it for drawings that you wish to create?

Hello Matt
One of the designers found it on an older drawing that is being updated.
I've passed on the information about specifying the standard, since the drawing shows a different ISO standard, and it appears that the change is being processed.
Thanks to all that have helped.
