when i run the opengl for ideas to run the program i get a cannot load a libogl-ids.dll file.

This is my first install with ideas software not sure what to do.

need help badly.....

We'd need further details to help...

How about:
I-DEAS version (ie, Master Series 9)
OS version (ie, Windows 2000 Professional SP3)

Did you check to see if your computer is supposed to be supported (ie, brand/model)?

Otherwise, anything unusual on your system?

Thx,

I have exactly the same problem.

Platform = Pentium III 667, 384MB ram, nvidia quadro 64MB graphics card.

Have clean install of win2000 pro sp2 on ntfs.

I-deas 9 seems to install no problem, ID & password accepted & relevant modules copy to hard disk then system restarts, all ok up to here.
Then the problem, when I try to open up ideas Open-GL I get the message:-
"Cannot load %SDRC_TP%\libogl_ids.dll graphics driver"

Can any one help me with this problem?
Cheers,
Diemzone.

Try adding SP3 for Win2k pro. I've not seen that problem using IMS9 on Win2k pro sp3.

Otherwise, the typical issues would be graphics driver version should be updated, or (less likely) your dll got 'stepped on' or deleted, which would mean you'd need to get the original version and put it back (which would be something an uninstall/reinstall might fix).
