I need to crack a TRIMER (explosive)which has a decomposition temp of 130 C. When this TRIMER is mixed with DIETHYL MELONATE, the decomposition temp increases to 250 C, and also becomes stable.The solvent ( ie Diethyl malonate has a B.P of 198 C).Now the FINAL cracked product has a B.P of 298 C.
My question is UNDER VACUUM could this charge be cracked at lower temperatures than 250 C ????
