There is a documentary done by National Geographic regarding the day of the collapse and the design and construction of the replacement bridge.
In Minneapolis/St. Paul it is on the National Geographic Channel at 7:00 PM CST, today Janaury 15, 2009. It may also been seen on some other channels in different markets since many channels do share programs.
Supposedly, it shows the activities during and just after the collapse.
Most of the program deals with documenting the rebuilding process, following engineers and architects and builders as they navigate the intricacies that go into creating a new bridge in a developed area.
