I want to optimize the stiffness matrix of a rectangular plate in Abaqus

Hi All

for the above intention , Since yet I have not decided yet the strategy of the optimization for that , I would like to know , if I wanna optimize all the stiffness matrix components with regard to deflection and maximum stress and weight, can I use Abaqus optimization tool , or should do it with a method (?) in MATLAB for example ? and if so , any suggestions and tips , all welcomed
