Composition 0.9%Mg 7.0%Zn 0.13%Cr 0.15%Ti Remain: Al Properties: (for -T6 heat treat. Separately cast bars.) Tensile: 345MPa Yield: 275MPa Elongation: 9% I would expect that -T71 would have lower properties overall since its an overaged (stabilized) heat treat condition. Also you should expect properties to vary significantly depending on location and section size of the casting. Upvote 0 Downvote
