I modeled a simple cube and performed a thermal analysis on it. I prescribed an uniform surface heat flux on one of its surfaces. I made another model that all material properties and geometry was the same as the first model except for circular partition I made on the surface on which surface heat flux is applied. The results (Nodal Temperatures) are shown in the attached photo. I'm wondering why that partition caused results to be different in these two models. Please tell me what you think.
Thanks!

Discretization may influence results. In this case one of the meshes was distorted due to circular partition.
