Hello all! I have just been offered a job as an electrical technician at a CCGT power station!!
As a shift elec tech at a paper mill for ten years it has been an ambition of mine since I started my career (straight from school).

Just sharing my good news!! No questions here.

Congratulations, 1000V. But remember do not strive to be the smartest or the quickest electrician.
Strive to be the oldest.
Told to me by an old electrician when I was young. I've almost made it. Second oldest. Oldest is 70 and intends to work for another 2 or 3 years before retiring so I'm closing in on my goal.

Bill,

Our oldest was occasionally known as 'Jurassic Spark', although I don't recall anyone brave or stupid enough to say it to his face!
