I have a project that the shop needs a flat pattern for a round to square cone. i have tried blends and conversions to sheetmetal but i can not unbend even after i rip it. any help would be great. i'm using pro2001

Both sections need to be created as rectangles/squares with filleted corners. The fillets on the square to be very small and the fillets on the round very large (leaving very small straight edges and appearing round).

Then blend the straight edges to each other and the small fillets to the large fillets.

Your part should unbend after ripping

thanks for the help i tried it and it worked the way we needed it to
