Hydrotesting of Spiral Heat Exchanger

In line with the previous thread, i have a similar question for the hydrotesting of spiral HE.

We tried hydrotesting on one side open, however, the coil started protruding outwards.

Is there any way to do the hydrotest with one side open?

The specs of the spiral heat exchanger are as follows:

Heat Transfer Area: 120m2
Application: Cooling of Ammonia Water
Operating Pressure: Hot side: 8kg/cm2 , Cold Side: 4kg/cm2
Test Pressure: 13kg/cm2 on both sides.
Overall Dimensions (Dia. x Height mm): ~ 1250 x 1750 mm
Plate Thickness (mm): 2
Cover Plate: 5 mm thk
