Hydrostatic Test on Air-Dryer (Twin Tower Dryer)

Hi,
Can desiccant dryer run hydrostatic test since one of the component inside is desiccant, is there any problem would happen?

May I know the reason why desiccant need to be removed? It is might damage the desiccant?

The desiccant will become completely saturated with water and will no longer be capable of functioning following the test.

Additionally, it may become a nasty mess that will be difficult to clean up afterward, or may contaminate other parts causing future failures.
