Could anyone tell me if the hydrogen test (N2 + 5% H2 during a few minutes) to control the tightness of a product can degrade material properties?

Normally this will not be problem.

If you could comeback with the MOC and environmental conditions of the test it will clear up any concerns.

Some details of the testing procedure will also help clarify any concerns with safety.
