I am looking for information on setting up a Hydraulic Pull station to do testing of diffrent products my company designs and builds. Presently we use 2 Pnematic Cylinders, one vertical and one horizontal with a 2000lb or 5000lb load cell hooked up to a Chatllin display. We would like to move to a Hydraulic system to get more repeatable tests. I understand the hydraulics paret (pump, lines, contoler, cylinder ect).
What i am stuggling with is how to get displacement, force, speed, ect all controlled through a computer type setup were i can say...go to X load, or pull X distance(X load is much more important than X Distance to us though) I also need the system to be able to give me a computer print out...some sort of Data Aquasition also...am i looking at a complete custom system here? or is there off the shelf products that i can use? I only have about 25K to spend...

Ok hopefully you guys and gals can help point me in the correct direction here. Feel free to ask away with questions if you need more info ect.
