hi all
I am asking about the GPIB card that can be used to connect my HP8569B spectrum analyzer that can be connetced to an desktop computer via HP-IB , I need to use the windows operating system
I am confsued any one can help plz

I have not used this particular HP spectrum analyzer, but many of the 80's model HP analyzers had a HPIB/GPIB which was only for connecting to the HP GPIB printers. In other words, you could only use the GPIB for printing and not for control. Check the manual to see if this is true of this model.

Do a web search on the HP8569B. I quickly found which has software to capture the screen to a PC through the GPIB.
