The HP-41 was a very popular programmable calculator amongst engineers, especially structural engineers back in the 80's and 90's.
I purchased my first RPN calculator in 1982 ( first year at university). It was a HP 41 CV and it cost me AU$410. Used it for 20 years+ continuous years until something went wrong in mid 2000's. Purchased a HP 48 GX next but was not the same.
So now I have a iPad and just purchased an app that is probably the best HP emulation program I have used.
See
It has different skins that you can overlay and it looks and feels just like my old 41. It also has a "printer" that looks like the old 41 printer. Cost was US$25, but includes all the math, stress, structures and many other app pacs that were available back in the 80's.
Also works on my iPhone too.
I picked up a free HP 48gx emulator too from the Apple App Store, but no where close to the 41 in functionality.
I am not associated with the software in any way, just a happy user.
Anyway, though it may interest some 80's engineers that enjoyed the 41...good times.
