Will someone please explain to me how to save and load "favorites" in Solidworks? When I add and try to save favorites, Solidworks does not give me the "save as" dialog box that the help files say I should get. When I open a new drawing and try to load favorites, it asks me to find a ".sldfvt" file, which does not exist on my computer evidently.

To save a favorite dimension (.sldfvt), you must first add/update to give it a name. Then you can save it to a .sldfvt file. It's a two step process. Here's my full FAQ:
Of cource, you can't load a favorite until you've saved it.

fcsuper, I tried that but to no avail. Then by process of elimination I isolated the problem.. Solidworks will not save a favorite with a "/" in the name. My favorites were named like "+/- 0.5" and nothing happens when you try to save it.. no error message or anything. Grrrr..
