We can calculate the value of reliability index and failure probability by a new reliability analysis method of slope stability. But how can we test the correctness of this new method by laborotory test or in situ test?

I would have thought that the reliability analysis of slope stability was for situations where you don't have the info you need for deterministic analysis. Wasn't your capacity PDF based on lab and in situ data (which of course require subjective interpretation)? Additional strength data would let you update the capacity PDF.

Please explain further.
