Hi Guys,

Im presently using (2) 2500 Series perkins Engines and marathon Alternator 500 KVA Gensets with Deep Sea 8610 controllers.

i would like to Synchronize these sets since the controller are already installed but they are not wired to the ECU nor the DVR.

Does anyone know how i can proceed to do this?

It has been a while since I've used these controllers, but in my experience work pretty good.

These have an output for the governor (speed bias) and the voltage regulator (volts bias), as I remember Deep Sea tech support had a number of installation documents to help identify where to connect for speed and volts, and what settings were needed to be programmed in the control. Some of these controls had analog load sharing lines that hooked in between each units controls, I believe the newer ones use the "network" connection.

Their website has pretty good downloads, the online PDF installation drawing covers most everything. I expect the Deep Sea controllers will work fine with your Perkins, however it will require you to make a number of settings to get them both to play nice. I would start with Deep Seas tech support and go from there.

MikeL.
