I am trying to solve a two-dimensional shear band computations problem using compression from a journal of T. Belytschko using ABAQUS cae. In the problem the initial imperfection was included in the form of a reduction in the yield strength.

sigmab=460MPa
a = 0.2
r0=0.1mm
x0=0, y0=0
How to set the imperfection in abaqus cae?
