HOW TO SECTION VIEW OF ASSEMBLY?

HI THERE
Lets say that i have an assembly including two parts(one is inside the other one-like pin inside a ) now i want to draw a section view of that assembly but only for outer part
like the pic that i uploaded as you see outer parts(number 1) is cut but inner part(number 2) is not

Check the Properties of the part instance for the option CUT IN SECTION VIEWS.

There is a similar option in Overload Properties, if you're using that.

Is part 2 in the background?

Is it Section Cut versus Section View?

Section cut will only show only data being cut.

Section View will show the section cut plus data behind the section cut location.
