how to seal cables through concrete 1

Hi all

I detected that in some buildings we have power cables coming in through concrete walls, without any sealing.

Now I want to seal them. I am thinking in some kind of resin that we could pour through the opening, sealing after seting.

This resin should have the following properties:
- high penetration, so every space between cables and concrete will be sealed
- fast seting
- flame resistant
- UV resistant
- water resistant
- rats, mouses, insects resistant

Polyurethane is not good enough.

Do you know any product that can meet these (at least some of them) requrements?

Are these in conduit, I assume?

I'd recommend against fire caulk unless the wall is rated because it could lead someone later to think it is rated. If the wall is rated, you need an approved system, not just a gob of red caulk.

3M fire-sealant it is a very good fire stopping product, indeed. But, I'd prefer not an intumescent compound. In my experience- with another intumescent product-it does not seal well if it is not in fire [high temperature]. Also, sometime the penetration may require 3 [or 4 hour] rating [not only 2 hrs].
I think RTV [GE or Dow Corning or other] Silicon Rubber will be better in your case.
I agree with alehman, you have to check the wall [or floor] fire rating in order to build a suitable fire stops. If it is difficult to know the penetration wall rating- but if it is concrete or bricks made- you may take the maximum-3 or 4 hours. It could be more expensive but it would save the time.
Fire Stops materials shall be tested as per ASTM E 814 by Underwriters Laboratory, FM or other testing and inspecting agency acceptable to authorities having jurisdiction.

I also found the product Sika Firesil, that I think it is equivalent to 3M Fire Barrier.
