Hello All,

The natural gas from the 1st Separator (Three phase) go to the Filter coalescer and then go to the Hg removal unit. Now we face the problem that high amount of free liquid and aerosol detected on the Hg removal unit. It is difficult for the absorbent loading out that we have to dig it out. My questions is "How to prevent the liquid? Should I need to modify the Coalescer to be finer?"

Note: Temp drop is almost constant.

Thanks for your help.

explain temperature drop is almost constant. The coalescer should work unless there is a temperature or pressure drop between it and the Hg removal beds. PECO (Perry Equipment Company)in Mineral Wells TX has a way to measure droplets and help you solve a performance problem with coalecsers.
