Hello All,

Here is the situtation:

I create PART A. Then I create PART B. I insert PART A into PART B (then I add my additional features and what not). Next I create PART C. I insert PART B into PART C (then I add my additional features and what not). Finally, I pack and go PART C and it only recognizes that it also needs to take PART B with it. It does not seem to recognize that it also needs to take PART A as well. Ofcourse my situation is a bit more complex, but this is basically the problem. Is there any way to make pack and go see PART C's grandparents? Anyone else have this problem?

I am using SolidWorks 2007 SP5.0.

Thank you!

Basically, I want to take advantage of the weldment cutlist application when creating drawings. At my current company, we model very large weldments that consist of many standard parts such as pipe flanges, elbows, tees, etc. that are inserted into the weldment parts as seperate parts. This way I have only have one weldment part file and therefore I can use a weldment cut list. I don't think I can do this if I go the assy route. Or can I? How do you personally handle large weldments that contain other standard parts?

Thank you!
