how to move a component of an assembly that is mated with other components

I am working on an assembly in Solidworks 2018

In my assembly, I have a large plate which I use as ground. I inserted it first and then clicked "fix".
I asseembled everything. However, I realized that my elements, which should be placed right on
the ground (coincident), are in fact above like 150 mm. If I do a distance mate to 0 mm, I get mating errors

The problem is that there are other elements connected along the system, such as pipes and other devices.
That's why I am getting these errors.

Is there a way to ground the lifted elements while keeping the other mates? Of course, all the affected elements will move accordingly, but that's not a problem for me.

There's no setting for "I screwed the pooch on this one, but now we're here... please SolidWorks let me do what I want now without actually fixing it". You'll have to figure out which mates and what part of the mating scheme is preventing you from doing what you want and delete or modify.
