How to model TENSION only X braces in ETABS 9.7 ?

Hi,

I want to model a tension only X brace. I've seen the FAQ

but I guess it was done with an old version of ETABS. In ETABS 9.7 it is not possible to assign a frame to NONE.

Anyone know how to model a tension only X brace ?

I work on SAP2000.

basically the definition of features are almost the same with ETABS.
