How to make curves shapes in a ring

Hello I'm new in CAD design. And I'm doing jewelry design. I'm trying to do this ring in SOLIDWORKS but I don't know how to do the curves? Should I do it with surfaces or how?thanks a lot!

Hard to see exactly what it looks like, but on first glance I would sweep a profile around a circular path, but choose to twist it as it goes.
