How to make boss coincident with vertical wall?

Another newbie question. I've been trying to set up a coincident relationship between the vertical edge of a boss and a vertical wall (the inside of a shell). So far I can't figure out how to do it and instead I have to manually fiddle with the boss sketch center point to tweak the boss/wall spacing to zero. Is there any way to set up this coincident relationship parametrically?

A similar situations arises when trying to make the edge of a circle in a sketch have a concident relationship with a line in the same plane. It's easy enough to create the sketch, but the coincident relationship doesn't seem to be usable here. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Your sketches are what you use to control that... not the extrusion itself. - So if you have a straight edge add a relationship of Colinear... if the edge is round or spline like pick the edge and convert the edge and use that in your sketch instead of you making a line.

Convert edges is a great tool to use when you want to line extrusions/cuts up.

[lol] ... Jeff, you beat me to it. Thats almost exactly what I was going to post when I read the title.

d94104 ... The direction of a Boss Extrude can be guided by an edge or sketch line. The option is the second box in the Direction1 section of the Extrude Manager. Just highlight the box then select the edge or sketch line.
