how to link dimension

Hello,

I want to model a part and link dimension, so by changing any dimensions all the others will change as well.

Can you help me please ?

Right-click the dimension, select "Link".

Linked dimensions are for dimensions of the same value.
Equations are used to create dependencies of dimension values based on other dimension values.

If you are running SW08, both functions can be accessed by double clicking the dimension and clicking the drop-down chevron.

Well I only found out about it the other day! ... as you learned in thread559-221821 ... either that or I just completely forgot about it.

I don't know which is worse though. Not knowing about it after multiple releases ... or forgetting it was there.
A choice between ignorance or senility!!! [sigh]
