How to hide silhouette curve

Hello,
I believe there must be a simple solution but I don't find it. Problem please see attached screen shot.
The dash line circle is from a thread hole at far end of the part. It is a silhouette curve. I don't want it to show in this section view. If I select it and hide it, many other lines and curves are hidden as well. I tried also turning off the Silhouettes in View Style, but it did not work. How do I get rid of this dash line circle only?

Edit -> View -> View Dependent Edit, pick the view, then use the the top left button (Erase Objects) to pick the curve, then ok.

But why does it happen? Why do some threaded holes not have these curves and some have?
