how to determine time step size for mass scale solution (DT2MS)?

Hello Friends,

I am performing crash analysis for vehicle barrier in LS Dyna.

I was wondering how to determine time step size for mass scale solution (DT2MS) ? I think this value will help in stabilising the solution and also reduce overall time step
