Hi,

I have read through the chapter in the manual about declaring a plastic material property, but I cannot seem to find how to define a non-linear elastic non-linear plastic material, for which I have XY data points (stress-strain) and I know the yield point.

Using the plastic material option, you can define a non-linear plastic material with XY data using plastic strain and yield stress but I cannot seem to find how to define an elastic material which is non-linear from XY data points, or how to define an elasto-plastic material from XY-data points.

Hopefully my question makes sense,
Any tips would be appreciated,

Philip

Try hyperelastic and input your test data. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the help.

Yep this looks like what I want.
