How to create a 90degree bend in a pipe

Hi I know this seems trivially easy but I am new to using
PE so would really appreciate some help. I have two pipes
that I wish to create a smooth bend in, with radius of 50.

Not knowing what you actually need to do with this model, the simplest thing would be to sketch the path of the two pipes including the radius. Then sweep a protrusion using the new sketch as the trajectory. You can swwep a thin protrusion and have the pipe completed in those two features.

Pipe feature lets you do a 3D sweep along a series of datum points, hollow or solid, constant or independent radii.

Not to jack this thread, but, once the bent pipe is created
using the sweep, is there a way to "flatten" it to get a
cut length?

you can not flatten them, but yes you can get the flattened pipe lengths from the file. make sure that you have created the pipe bend table along with pipe data.
