I have a mat foundation on a pile foundation (150 piles with a mat foundation 23*36 with a pile of 80 cm diameter and a length of 30 m) I checked the mat foundation in SAFE and I checked the piles for axial load, but I need to check the piles for seismic loads (lateral loads), How to model the piles in ETABS do I consider them as fixed in the ground or do I consider the piles as fixed with the mat foundation ?
