How to check if object is part or assembly in 3DExperience

Is there way to check with 3DExpereince via VBA macro if object is part or assembly?

EDIT: I know that I can inspect it by looping through each element in assembly and checking number of sub-elements in assembly. My question is more reffered if there is property like .CheckType or .Type to get is part or assembly.
