How to boost pressure in cooling water line?

Hello
I need to hook up a new eqp to existing cooling water line. But the pressure in existing line is too small (assume 0.5 barg) I need at least 1 barg at device inlet. Is it possible to hook up a centrifugal pump to line? Then I could supply an equipment with water. Maybe I should use a diferent type of pump? Flow rate is ca 100 m3/hr.

Should not be a problem to install a centrifugal pump inline to boost to the pressure you want.
check the following link for inline pumps which should just the thing for your application.

They have "booster" pumps for your very application. They are low flow, high pressure. They are essentially multi-stage centrifugal pumps.

The pumps head will be the pressure drop through the piping and your piece of equipment plus a .25 bar for pressure drop flow control.
