Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to assign different material properties to different elements in ANSYS Workbench. I would like to know if it is possible to assign a different thickness to each shell element. Thicknesses are already obtained by a programming code for the geometry I am working on.

It is possible with ABAQUS, but I would like to know with ANSYS Workbench. I would be glad if you post a sample code, that I would only input the material properties or the thickness.

Thanks and Best regards,

In Workbench's "Component Systems", see if External Data would work for you.

Best regards,
Jason
