hi,
let's say i have a rectangular surface, I'm trying to apply a downward point force at 4mm of curve(10mm). Do i create a point at the 4mm and associate the point to the curve(that's what i'm thinking but its not working) then apply the force on the point?

Hi, wei123
For example, create surface , create point , associate point to surface, Apply load and constraint, create material , create material properties use 2d solid and plain strain, Then Analyze.

That's it.

Hello char, thanks I have solved the problem.
