Hello Everyone ,

Can someone help me out with a sample code of adding sketches , notes to a given group in drawing.
Also while i was trying the same manually , i found out that the sketch appears in the part navigator instead of the active group and if i add the sketch later after creation to the group it is duplicated at both the part navigator and the group. I simply do not want any sketches reflected in the part navigator tree.

Note : I do not want to use sketch group in NX as sketch group only supports Sketches.
Please help , as i am stuck !!!

Thanks and Regards,
Amitabh

To support my query ,

Please find attached a snapshot showing the sketch which is appearing in the part navigator when i try to add lines , arcs etc (as shown highlighted in the image file).
I just wish to add the sketch lines drawing etc to the group directly.

Please revert in case of any clarifications.

Thanks,
Amitabh

As per docs the Sketch Groups are intended for grouping the elements of a sketch. You cannot get rid of the sketch from the model tree. If you have to hide sketches from the feature tree you can set filters to hide them.

Thanks Suresh.
Can you please let me know how do i set filters?

Thanks,
Amitabh

Thanks for the visual demonstration Suresh.
Please refer to my attached image in which the part navigator is not showing any sketches without using any flters. Also the lines directly appear in the group.
I wish to replicate the same behaviour using code.

Thanks,
Amitabh
