How do you change the coordinate system of a bar element?

I know to do it for shell elements you select MODIFY-ELEMENT-SHELL ORIENTATION, but how do you do the same thing for a bar element? Or is there a simpler way of doing it?

yes ... modify, element, beam orientation

what code ? (looks like FeMap)

Hi, thanks for your response, I have just noticed that when you click in the beam orientation box it lets you select a coordinate system.

I'm not sure what you mean by what code, sorry!
