How do I get a copy of MIL-I-8776B?

MIL-I-8776B was cancelled in 1981. How do I get an online copy? It's referenced in a customer document and I want to see how important it is. It's certainly not worth paying to see a doc cancelled 3 decades ago.

Or ask the customer for a copy.

If it's important they will have one, otherwise ask for a contract waiver on whatever requirement they think is related. It's typically not a fair contract if the parties don't know what they expect to happen.

Most of you should have read the post, not just the title. I said it was cancelled long ago and even provided the date. And I said it wasn't worth purchasing something so old. I'm sure IHS wants me to buy one. It wasn't in the customer IHS collection. We are determining whether or not it is important enough to ask the customer to buy one. Kind of hard to say without seeing it. Guess it's like poker.

it was cancelled and not obviously superceded ... wonder if it is properly valid ? wonder what replaced it (insulation blanket for turbine engine) ??

I was able to view it in IHS. I don't know why you cannot.
It is your call and your company's business if you want to take exception to the specification without reviewing it.
